Because it’s sometimes been cause for confusion I thought I’d explain why as music artist “Mama Chill”  I combine it  with M.E Campaigning.  Like many of you living with this illness, I was living a relatively normal life before being struck down, and that life included seriously making music amongst other things, & I’d just started getting major record label interest when M.E decided to stroll along and strip me of my health, followed by my job, my social life, my music and just about every damn thing it could strip.   Having been told that tha illness would mean any chance of   a music career was well and truly over…. M.E Vs M.S Let Battle Commence

After the sad news broke that Jack Osbourne had M.S, the  social networking sites were awash with shared news articles, and words of sympathy and one of our Facebook friends had written “wish it could have been M.E” not that they wished any kinda illness on Jack or anyone else for that matter, they were just saying what a lot of us M.E sufferers were probably thinking. The amount of publicity and celebrity support has been, and is going to be enormous, a publicity and support we could so do with in the M.E world, BUT…..yes, theres that word again, the infamous but…..i firmly believe that if Jack Osbourne had been diagnosed with M.E instead of M.S there wouldn’t have  been any media frenzy, there woudn’t be an interview in OK magazine, it wouldn’t of been splashed across the front of the national newspapers and it wouldn't have been on every news channel going, and the reason for this is, if he had been diagnosed with M.E instead of M.S I believe he wouldn’t of ...

M.E? THAT DONKEY KONG VIBE

Trying to do normal things when we have M.E takes Ninja  skills for sure.   M.E is a bit like tha retro game of  Donkey kong, you can bet your bottom dollar that just when we’re feeling smug at having outsmarted M.E , made it to the second platform and escaped its evil clutches……BAM!  That pesky gorilla gets a direct hit with tha barrel of badass M.E badness sending us rolling back down to tha bottom again. Hey Come on, I’m not askin for enough energy to save some hysterical damsel in distress at tha top …… gimme a break?
